I’ve always loved games and one of my earliest memories is playing Mechwarrior in my father’s homemade Mech cockpit setup. Growing up my favorite genres have been RTS starting with Starcraft and Warcraft but in my teenage years I got into competitive FPS gaming with Day of Defeat, Counter Strike, and Unreal Tournament. This love of competitive gaming grew for years as I competed at LAN tournaments and drove around the country playing Starcraft 2 at MLG.
Eventually just playing games wasn’t enough and a friend convinced me to work on a project with him which started as a Wizard Arena Shooter then gradually turned into a magical fantasy based MOBA Shooter. We ran our first Alpha test with friends and played for most of the day. Deciding we had a potential hit we decided to go all-in and try to make it a commercial product. Developing a MVP then getting through the Steam Greenlight process was a big first step and after a semi-successful but ultimately failed Kickstarter attempt we decided to keep at it and launched on Steam Early Access then finally with a full release in late 2017.
From there I found my way to Chromatic Games in my hometown of Gainesville, FL and a professional career working on the Dungeon Defenders franchise where I’ve been a part of a small but great team for about 4 years.
